The Pattern 103 4-1/2ā Black & Red Assisted Sideliner that is part of the Bear Edge line and weighs 4.3 ounces. The 3-1/2ā hollow ground blade is made with 440 High Carbon Stainless Steel with a black powder coating to prevent rust and is easy to sharpen. Pattern 103 is designed with thumb studs on the blade and smooth action ball bearings for easy opening. The stainless-steel sideliner lock ensures that the blade remains firmly in place and jimping is present on the lock for a more secure grip. The black & red aluminum handle features a reversible pocket/boot clip for tip-up carry that allows either right- or left-hand carry or quick access. A lanyard spacer is present on the back of the handle for secure fastening and storage. Pattern 103 also has the Bear Edge logo engraved onto the blade and pocket/boot clip.
